1) Targeted Body Goal
The number of sessions needed for this body contouring treatment depends on targeted body goal and how much unwanted fat you'd like to remove on the targeted areas. The common areas of body that people seek treatment for are, flanks, upper arms, thighs, bra bulge and back fat. Larger areas with more subcutaneous fat may require multiple treatments (four to five cycles) to achieve your desired results. Smaller areas would usually only require one or two sessions.
The average fat reduction for first session is 23%, observable after a few weeks. The first treatment session targets approximately the first centimeter of fat, and subsequent treatments target deeper layers of fat on the treatment layer. Studies have shown that there is a continual reduction of fats with increased treatment sessions.

Although, fat cells are present in every area of the body, the different fat receptors affects amount of fats in a specific area. This in turn may affect the number of treatments needed.

3) The Equipment
It is important to use the right Coolsculpting device. Using the right size of applicators on the treatment area will affect the extent of fat removal and number of sessions needed. The applicator creates a gentle suction when connected to the skin. A smaller applicator, is ideal for the chin, while larger applicators are required for areas like the thighs and abdomen. Multiple applicators can be applied at the same time to treat different areas, this will reduce total treatment time. Up to two applicators can be placed around the abdomen and flanks for maximum results.

Patience Is Key
Results are not immediate because of how Fat Freeze works. It takes time for your body to flush out these dead fat cells through your lymphatic system. This may take up to two weeks to remove excess fat. Therefore, we recommend waiting at least 30 days after treatment to see how your body is responding. If you would like another treatment in the same area, we suggest waiting for a month before going for the next treatment. In the meantime, keeping a healthy lifestyle (healthy diet and exercise) will be beneficial in maximizing final results.
